The Château Grand Renom is located in Eynesse on south-west facing hillsides on the foothills of the Dordogne with an altitude of 262 Ft. There is an integrated viticulture. Rotation of cereal and leguminous plants in autumn to loosen and naturally enrich the soils (natural integration of atmospheric nitrogen into the soil) as well as green pruning (but pruning, leaf thinning). The vineyard was developed just after the French Revolution and was formerly a hamlet where different tradesmen lived and worked and many different types of crops were grown. The estate began to concentrate virtually exclusively on vines from the early 19th century.
