Excellence de Triniac 2013

Côtes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France AOP

Latour de France is one of the richest "terroir" in France with a diverse soil. For ten years, there has been an exclusive trade partnership between CAZES and Estagel Montner and Latour de France cellars with two wines : "Château Triniac", a delicately fruity red wine and "L'excellence de Triniac", maturated in barrels, with aromas of spice and ripe fruit.

Hand picked, the grapes are entirely de-stemmed before being placed in vats. Fermentation is controlled at 28°C and regular circulation ensures gradual juice extraction. Maceration lasts for a fortnight until the grapes are pressed and malolactic fermentation takes place.

The wine partly matures in French oak barrels for 12 months before being blended. It is bottled some two years after the harvest and stored in air-conditioned cellars.
